Youth 8-12

help with EAC events, projects, planning, and on-going maintenance of public green spaces, build rain barrels, raised vegetable beds and row covers, help with tree plantings and maintenance, mussel surveys in local streams, litter clean ups, host tables at public fairs and events, create environmental videos

work directly with families, in the office performing administrative tasks, cook meals, perform yard work, make deliveries, advise on fundraising committees, serve as board members and volunteer at events. At home volunteer opportunities include assembling care packages, comfort bags and snack bags.

trail maintenance, weeding, seed gathering, plantings, trash pick up and content writing..

assist with awareness initiatives, support and coordinate Foundation family events, help with holiday gift drives and deliveries, assist with fundraising efforts, organize school supply, gift card, and pantry item drives

assist with cleaning up community fridge, check donation boxes at local community organizations, purchase food with provided gift cards, pick up food donations, organize food drives and sandwich making events

remove invasive vines, plant trees, clean up trash, help monitor water quality, care for forest plots and help saplings grow, assist with special events, assist with visitor center and office needs, including bulk mailings, greeting visitors and cashiering the gift shop

harvest garden crops, tend flower gardens, care for and feed animals, help at Saturday farm markets, seed planting and watering in the green house, staff CSA distributions

help to organize outings and activities, spend quality time with residents, bring your own talents and skills to benefit the lives of seniors
