Service Projects
Pop-Up Projects
Our pop-up service projects are free to attend and open to all ages. These family-friendly events last about an hour, making them perfect for busy schedules. Each pop-up moves around town — you’ll find us at local businesses, community centers and nonprofit organizations throughout Abington Township and the surrounding area.
At-Home Projects
We offer monthly at-home service projects for those who prefer to participate on their own schedule. Each month, a simple prompt is shared that can be completed at home—or anywhere else—individually or with family, friends, or coworkers.
Custom Projects
For schools, businesses and community groups, we design custom service projects. Support can range from helping plan the project and create supply lists to full setup and day-of facilitation, ensuring meaningful and well-organized volunteer experiences.

At home, on your own or with friends and family
Help us create cheerful cards for patients at Abington Hospital.

- This card is carrying a whole lot of good wishes straight to you.
- Consider this card a delivery of warm hugs and happy thoughts.
You may sign the card with your first name, or “Kindness Crew” if you prefer. If using an envelope, please do not seal it.
Drop off completed cards to:
The Jenkintown Library

Anytime between now and March 31
If needed, pick-up can be arranged by emailing KindnessCrewAbington@gmail.com
Earning Service Hours?
5 handmade cards = 1 service hour. Maximum of 2 service hours; this project may only be completed once. Drop off your cards at the Jenkintown Library — a librarian will check card quality and sign your paperwork.
