Who We Are
Kindness Crew Abington is a community-based initiative in Abington, PA, dedicated to connecting individuals and families to local volunteer opportunities. Our goal is to make it easier for people of all ages to show up, do good and feel connected to their community.
What We Do
Volunteer Directory
Our searchable directory features 100+ local volunteer opportunities in Abington and the surrounding communities. Users can browse by interest or age group and explore opportunities on an easy-to-use map.
Service Projects
We offer free, family-friendly pop-up service projects at different locations around town, open to people of all ages. Each event lasts about an hour, fits easily into busy schedules and provides all necessary supplies.
We also offer monthly at-home service projects for those who prefer to participate on their own schedule. Each month, a simple prompt is shared that can be completed at home—or anywhere else—individually or with family, friends or coworkers. A drop-off location is provided and pick-up can be arranged when needed.
For schools, businesses and community groups, we design custom service projects. Support can range from helping plan the project and create supply lists to full setup and day-of facilitation, ensuring meaningful and well-organized volunteer experiences.
