The Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA), a 501c,3 charitable organization, sponsors the annual July 4th Independence Day celebration events in Glenside, Pennsylvania. The parade began in 1904 and is one of the nation's oldest consecutively run 4th of July parades. GGPA also coordinates the Memorial Day Service at the North Penn VFW. Meetings take place every 2nd Tuesday of the Month at the Weldon Firehouse, at 7:15 pm.
