The Nature Center is a rich oasis in the middle of suburban Abington. Our 12.5 acres have about a mile of trails winding through the woods. In addition to walking the trails and observing wildlife, Briar Bush offers many features for visitors to enjoy: Dede Long Nature Museum, Griscom Bird Observatory, nature playscape, pond, pollinator garden, trails and nature shop. The mission of Briar Bush is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and protect nature by encouraging curiosity and scientific inquiry.
